College was something Eli had never considered. He dropped out of high school twice before his junior year, and with financial struggles at home, he said school just didn’t seem important. In August 2018, Eli’s mother said she found a place that would be good for him. She sent him to Methodist Children’s Home, and Eli found the structure he needed.
Devoted to God, determined, hardworking, beyond reproach, and positive are just a few of the words used to describe 16-year-old twins Joseph and Johnnie.
A little more than two years ago, Roger got a second chance to make his father proud. He had gotten into some trouble that led him to juvenile detention. However, instead of giving him his sentence, the judge gave him a choice: go to prison for six months, or try something new by going to Methodist Children’s Home where he could build a new life.

Ari said she is grateful that she found a “brick foundation to build upon” at MCH and is grateful for the opportunities, growth and healing she has experienced. Although she has dealt with a lot of adversity, Ari used those experiences and her time at MCH to become a stronger person.
