Congratulations to our MCH ag students at the University of Texas—University Charter School who participated in the McLennan County Junior Livestock Show this week.
In the 13 MCH Family Outreach communities across Texas and New Mexico, case managers work with families in a variety of ways, including parent education and other family solutions combining individual and family services, case management and advocacy. At the Boys Ranch in Waco, Texas are seven young men – Laderius and three sets of brothers: Bryce and Londen, Daniel and Yassir, and Sterling and Ryland – all whose connections to MCH uniquely originated through these Family Outreach programs.
With the recent COVID-19 school closures, staff and residents at the MCH Boys Ranch are finding numerous ways to keep busy. FFA students from the MCH charter school competed in the Crawford FFA livestock show in Clifton, Texas, on Oct. 26 followed by the Holiday Classic at the Bell County Expo Center on Nov. 2-3.
