Summer is a time for MCH youth to grow, serve and enjoy special occasions and activities. Thanks to faithful and generous giving, young people in MCH residential and day student programs enjoyed a summer full of camps, field trips, community service, and personal enrichment.
Three existing MCH Family Outreach offices relocated to more spacious facilities in the last year to accommodate the growth of community-based programs.

Michele Silva’s dreams of a loving, happy family were crushed when abuse destroyed her marriage. With the well-being of her young children foremost in her mind, Silva received a list of community organizations that could provide assistance. One of the contacts was for Hannah Osborne, a case manager with MCH Family Outreach in Waco.
The day before Methodist Children’s Home became Malcolm’s new home, he had a sleepless night, worried he might miss his admissions appointment the next morning. Accountability and punctuality were values his military father instilled in him at an early age and would be what he relied on as he navigated the path that led him to MCH.
Devin came to Methodist Children’s Home when he was 13. Today he is a junior at the MCH charter school and says MCH has helped him discover identity and purpose.
Building a sense of courage to live life to the fullest and to help youth grow into the best versions of themselves. This is how Tim Price, director of outdoor education at Methodist Children’s Home, passionately describes the goal of the program.
Youth residents living on the Waco campus and Boys Ranch enjoyed the holiday weekend hunting for Easter eggs and opening their Easter baskets delivered by MCH staff.
