Staff driving onto the Methodist Children’s Home (MCH) campus and passersby on Herring Ave. have a visible reminder that heroes serve at MCH.
The bright lettering at the entrance of the campus stating “Heroes Serve Here” is “just a small gesture to show our great staff how much we appreciate them,” said Trey Oakley, MCH president. “During this time so many have gone above and beyond in their service to the children, youth and families in our care. There are many different job titles but all are drawn together by our mission to serve and they fall into the hero category every day at MCH. We want to make that known and say a special thank you because MCH is a place where heroes serve.”
