SMS Terms & Conditions
By opting into SMS from a web form or other medium, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages from Methodist Children’s Home. This includes SMS messages for appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, post-visit instructions, lab notifications, and billing notifications. Message frequency varies. SMS Consent Communication:
The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing/promotional purposes.
Types of SMS Communications:
If you have consented to receive text messages from Methodist Children’s Home you may receive messages related to the following:

- Appointment Scheduling: “Dear [Client Name], this is [name] from Methodist Children’s Home. Just a friendly reminder about your upcoming [counseling or group] appointment on [date] at [time] with [staff member name]. If you have questions or need to reschedule, please call us at [phone number] or reply to this message. See you soon! You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list. If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword HELP.
- Referral Links and Resource Information: “Hello [client name]! This is [name] from MCH Family Outreach! We wanted to share a helpful resource with you: [referral link or resource name]. This may provide support for [specific need]. Please reach out if you have any questions. We’re here to help! Call us at [phone number] or reply to this message if you have questions. You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list. If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword HELP.
- Safety/Emergency Information: Hello [client name]! This is [name] from MCH. We want to ensure you have access to important safety resources. If you are in an emergency or need immediate assistance, please contact [emergency service, i.e. 911 or Crisis Hotline, MCH On-Call]. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help – we are here for you! OR Hello [client name], this is [name] from MCH. With [severe weather event, storms, extreme heat, freezing temps, etc.] in our area, we want to make sure you stay safe. Please follow local weather alerts and take necessary precautions. For emergency assistance, call 911. You can also find shelter and resources at [link]. Stay safe and let us know if you need support. You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list. If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword HELP.

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.
Opt-In Method:
You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Methodist Children’s Home in the following ways:
