Recreation Assistant - Part Time
The Recreation Assistant will work year-round with the recreation department to provide intentional recreation programs that build relationships with youth and offer them a chance to grow through introspection and playful interaction. The Recreation Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervision of youth, teaching life skills, problem management, planning and implementing weekly recreation activities, campus wide events, summer programs, after school programs, and holiday/break activities. The Recreation Assistant must be lifeguard certified. The Recreation Assistant will work around 25 hours a week. Hours will include evenings and weekends. Must be 21 or older. Seasonal Recreation Assistant
Seasonal part-time positions are available from the end of May 2015 through August 2015. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting summer recreation programs, supervision of youth, and must be lifeguard certified. The Seasonal Recreation Assistant will work up to 20 hours a week. Hours will include evenings and weekends. Must be 21 or older. High school diploma or GED required. Apply online.

Full-time homeparents are under the supervision of the Unit Manager and Campus Administrator. Homeparents are responsible for the daily supervision of youth in the home unit. Additionally, homeparents are responsible for teaching daily living skills, problem management, building team relationships, home unit management, and having an up-to-date awareness of Methodist Children’s Home policies and procedures. The Art Teacher provides students with learning activities and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. This position exercises independent judgment and makes decisions with few guidelines. Must have a valid Texas teaching certification for Art K-12 and meet highly qualified standards as established by the No Child Left Behind Act. Case Manager - Abilene
MCH Family Outreach is seeking applications for a new full-time Case Manager position. Responsibilities will include provision of in-home services to families, community education, recruitment, training, licensing and case management of foster homes. Must maintain a high level of compliance with MCH policy and procedures, accreditation standards, and applicable TDFPS Licensing Standards. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be available for on-call rotation, possess a valid driver's license and clean criminal history. A Bachelor's degree in social work or other human services discipline and one year of relevant experience is required. Master's degree preferred. Apply online
