WACO CAMPUS JOB OPENINGS

Unit Manager
Full time Unit Manager position is available. Bachelor's degree in social work or related field is required, Masters preferred. Duties include case management, group work, staff supervision and team leadership. Experience working with adolescents, as well as supervisory experience preferred. The Unit Manager is responsible for having direct contact with the youth's families to schedule visits, coordinate meetings and communicate progress. Apply online.

Seasonal Recreation Assistant
Seasonal part-time positions are available from the end of May 2015 through August 2015. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting summer recreation programs, supervision of youth, and must be lifeguard certified. The Seasonal Recreation Assistant will work up to 20 hours a week. Hours will include evenings and weekends. Must be 21 or older. High school diploma or GED required. Apply online.

Youth Care Counselor
Responsibilities for this full-time position include supervision of youth in residential living unit. Must attend to unit duties regarding care and maintenance of the unit. High school diploma/GED, no criminal history, 21 years of age and experience with adolescent boys is required. This opening is for the 3-11 p.m. rotating shift. Apply online.

Full-time homeparents are under the supervision of the Unit Manager and Campus Administrator. Homeparents are responsible for the daily supervision of youth in the home unit. Additionally, homeparents are responsible for teaching daily living skills, problem management, building team relationships, home unit management, and having an up-to-date awareness of Methodist Children’s Home policies and procedures. Art Teacher

The Art Teacher provides students with learning activities and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. This position exercises independent judgment and makes decisions with few guidelines. Must have a valid Texas teaching certification for Art K-12 and meet highly qualified standards as established by the No Child Left Behind Act. Equine Coordinator
The full time Equine Coordinator is responsible for directing and leading all aspects of the equine program offered at the MCH Boys Ranch. This position works under the supervision of the Director of Ranching and supports the vocational agriculture program offered at the charter school operated on the MCH Waco campus and Boys Ranch. The Equine Coordinator is responsible for the care of the horses, facilities and equipment assigned to the equine program. The Equine Coordinator teaches horsemanship classes and supervises all horseback riding activities. Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience in training and working with horses is required. Certification as an equine instructor or eligibility to receive this certification is also required. Apply online
