Photo of Dianne, Methodist Children's Home, Waco, TexasDianne is a sixth grader from the Waco Campus who attends public school. This past weekend, she participated in the end of school program of Seussical Junior, a musical about Dr. Seuss books. The play was performed at the University High School Theater.

We sat down with Dianne to find out more.

Q: What can you tell me about your part in the play?
A: I was the lion tamer from the Solla Sollew book that Dr. Suess wrote. I worked with the kindergarten kids who were the lions. It was fun being around the younger kids and being on stage with them. I had an acting part.

Q: What did it mean to you to be part of this play?
A: I usually have a fear of being in front of people so this experience helped me. I was excited when my teacher encouraged me to do it. I really had a lot of fun.
