Our Services

IN-HOME CASE MANAGEMENT

In-home services are provided through the Family Solutions program. Family Solutions is an early intervention program designed to strengthen families through case management and advocacy.

Services include:

 - Individualized assessments

 - Parenting support

 - Referrals or assistance to help meet basic needs and promote child safety and family stability

Our staff partners with families in Killeen to help support their efforts to overcome their individual and family challenges through a supportive, professional relationship, assessment, service planning and regular face-to-face contact. We can meet with you as often as needed in your home, your child’s school or anywhere in the community where you are comfortable.

GRANDPARENT SUPPORT

An increasing number of grandparents are finding themselves raising a second generation of children. Extending their role of parenthood to care for grandchildren can be a strain on resources and relationships. Through the Grandparents As Parents Program (GAPP), MCH Family Outreach focuses on child safety, healthy child development, family relationships, and the unique challenges of parenting grandchildren.

Services include:

 - Support groups

 - Case management

 - Referral/Advocacy to assist grandparents in accessing community resources

PARENT EDUCATION

The Nurturing Parenting program is designed to support and enhance parenting skills for families with children of all ages. We can provide education on how to meet the needs of growing children and we can help you talk through difficulties. Staff are trained facilitators of the program and utilize tips and techniques of this philosophy while working with families, whether in a group education setting or while addressing specific parenting struggles with an individual family.
